Remembering Lori Griffith, COVT
Friends – It is with a heavy heart that I share current IECB Member Lori Griffith COVT, passed away on Thursday. Lori was a great therapist and a wonderful friend to so many of us and will be sorely missed.
I interviewed Lori for my Sit Down series back in 2014. I am reposting the interview here in her memory.
For anyone wishing to send words of support to Lori’s family, please email them to info@covd.org; COVD is facilitating their delivery.

Thanks for letting us know about Lori’s death. I am sorry to hear this news. I helped mentor Lori when she was prepping for her certification and we became friends. Sad news, to be sure.
I will miss you, dear friend. May your memory be a blessing. ♥

اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّآ اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ….
These are the Arabic Quranic Sentence on condolences of her death….
May Allah keep her in Save.
You will be missed dear Lori! She was my mentor
I had several conversations with Lori as a fellow mentor…she was so kind, encouraging, and ALWAYS invited me to Virginia! Our ranks are shy by one tonight…we’ll miss you, Lori. RIP
Lori had been my friend, colleague and partner on the IECB board for the last several years. We always took our position on IECB as serious fun! She’d say, “Let’s do this!” She was always full of energy. During oral interviews she had a wonderful way of bringing out the best in each COVT candidate, calming their nerves and helping them to shine! ⭐️ I really enjoyed working with her! She had a special gift and will be sorely missed. Rip my dear friend! 💗
I am so sorry for Lori’s loss. My deepest condolences.
